Film Screenings Oleander , June 8, Technopolis , 8 pm: Three transgender women in their 60s embark on a night stroll through Athens, revisiting the streets where they began their sex work, had fun, found love, struggled, and resisted gloriously.
Lesvia , June 10, Hellenic American Union , 8 pm: In the s, lesbians from around the world flocked to a small village on the island of Lesbos. A local lesbian filmmaker weaves a tale spanning over four decades, exploring themes of love, community, conflict, and the request for acceptance. Transistence, June 10, Hellenic American Union, 7 pm : Two journalists take a journey from Athens to Madrid to explore the experiences of transgender people. In the Eyes, June 8, Municipal Theatre of Piraeus , 8 pm : A profound exploration of human nature, our struggles, and our relationship with the world.
